Last night our Producer Pete Meighan came to our studio to listen to our songs. After lengthy discussions we had a much better idea of where we want to take the album and what we are really about musically as a band. We have chosen 12 songs to work with and we will be going through them with a fine tooth comb over the next month or so with the best possible debut album being our goal. Videos to come as the process unfolds. Keep ye posted!

Pre-production for our debut album has began. Our producer Pete will be coming along to our rehearsal space in the coming weeks to discuss album contenders and once we chosen the songs we'll be tweaking them right up until we enter the studio at the end of January. Keep ye posted.

The Plan: Begin recording debut album in January 12' with producer/engineer Pete Meighan (North Atlantic Oscillation, Dave Couse, MOON). We have been really busy writing new material for the album and have copious amounts of new tunes for ye. We're playing some gigs over the next two months including an all ages free show with a Q&A session after the set on the 29th October, Gorey and a Halloween Bash over the Coach House in Gorey also which will include a prize for best costume. We'd love to see ye all and let you hear these new tunes.

We have just uploaded an acoustic version of "Another Day" on our YouTube channel.
Play it loud my friends and let us know what ye think. The song is fast becoming a sing along classic in our live sets.
On gig news, we've been added to the Sunset Festival bill along with Republic of Loose, Ham Sandwich and Bi-Polar Empire. It takes place on Sunday 31st of July in Gorey.

Chucky's River play the TempleHouse Festival in Sligo this June 10th. Acts such as Ash, Kerbdog, Something Happens and Andy McKee will be playing, so get it into your diaries.
More dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
In other news, we'll be recording some live acoustic versions of some songs which will be up on our YouTube channel soon.

After a packed hometown show in Gorey and a brilliant response to the new material, the band will be playing a Dublin Headline show in the Twisted Pepper on the 15th April.
Expect free treats on entry and a seriously rockin show.
Get in early to catch Bocs Social who'll be on stage around 8.30pm.

Busy, busy, busy! The band have been heavy in rehearsals for their upcoming April Shows. 6 months of productive hibernation have left the band raring to get back on the live circuit, so please come along and check out the new stuff at one of the shows. Bands that will be joining the River over these dates include, Bocs Social, Touchwood and Triple Drop so no excuses.........

Our song Personality Crash has been included on a charity album. "Brand New Day - The SOS Album" has
been put together to create awareness about suicide in conjunction with the charity Suicide or Survive. We
